Length: 1 Semester Credits: 1 Grades: 10-12 Description Survey of the Animal Industry introduces students to the scientific principles applied to animal care, health, and production. Students will study a variety of species of food animals including cattle, swine, sheep, goats and other animals. This course will cover units including: management, reproduction, genetics, nutrition, selection and evaluation, processing and meats, and distribution of animal products.
